Adventure Time

These two guys

are great buddies. Always playing games and making up contests for each other. I love watching the two of them together--the big one showing grace and love to the little one, who eats it up and is learning what "family" really means along the way....

Last week Nick made up a challenge for Joshua. It was an epic adventure

stretching over two days, and involving clues hidden around the house, yard, and even neighborhood.

There was problem-solving, lots of walking, and even binoculars were involved. 

In the end, Joshua was rewarded with a "Congratulations!" note and a sense of accomplishment.

He was so inspired by the adventure, he decided to make up his own for his brother and they soon set out again....

I'd like to stop time about now...
