All of the original members of the gbattery are now of age to vote! It was a privilege to take the newest adult down to the poll on Saturday to cast his first ballot. I think he was pretty excited about it-especially since his first "adult" thing he did (the 10-min adult swim break at the pool this summer) turned out to be anti-climactic for him. ;-)
And the founding father of the gbattery is serving his country in the hurricane-affected areas in New Jersey and New York. He deployed with his advance party several days ago and the main body, vehicles, and equipment (including their own fuel and generators) followed in two separate movements over the next couple of days. We are so proud of what he is getting to do. We don't know when they'll be back but they'll keep working hard until their job is done.And we'll keep everything running smoothly here while he's gone.
