Fun Family Times

Saturday I drove down to pick up Jarrett for Christmas. We had a great drive back up here--lots of time to chat and no traffic! Sunday our family lit the Advent wreath at church and we all went out to Outback for dinner Sunday night (sorry you missed it, Lori G....). We had a great time just sitting around laughing about "old times" and making new memories....

Tonight we finally got around to making gingerbread houses. Joshua has been begging me to get the pieces baked and I just haven't been able to find the time. Thankfully, we won a couple kits at a Christmas party last week and it worked out great! Alyson has a day of school left before break and unfortunately has a big chemistry test tomorrow so she had to spend the evening studying. She's got to maintain that awesome GPA, you know....

There was some snacking but not too much. I think it was too much sugar even for them.
