- the necklace Joshua made me out of a found charm and a chain he borrowed from me.
- the way he intentlly described the drawings on the cards he made for everyone
- the fact that his big sister helped him wrap everything up and even made little homemade boxes for some of the presents, with personalized decorations
- watching Prince Caspian with everyone last night. That is a great movie and was so beautifully allegorical. Thank you, Nick, for that thoughtful gift.
- my two new Willow Tree angels, wonderfully coordinated by Jarrett and Alyson
- my new devotion book called "Taming Your Tongue in 30 Days," with chapters on the "sarcastic tongue" and the "loquacious tongue," etc. That topic has been on my mind for some time now, but more to come on that in the new year
- the new apron my in-laws got me from the Williamsburg collection
- having my family all together again, just like old times.
- Remembering those "old times" as we sat around visiting after dinner
It was a great day.
