Tuesday night Joshua and I went to the library for the celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday. Joshua was excited (the Lorax is one of his favorite books) and he dressed up in Nick's Cat-in-the-hat costume. He got chosen to help act out one of the stories and had a great evening.
Wednesday afternoon we continued the celebration with 2 of our good friends. We made turtles to stack in honor of Yertle the Turtle 
created Cat In the Hat snacks from crackers, frosting, and gummi savers
and even had a play of Green Eggs and Ham presented to us.
Happy 106th birthday, Dr. Seuss!
So sweet! That Cat in the Hat Costume got a lot of mileage out of it! :) I LOVE all the activities you end up doing with the girls. What a great idea! So creative!
