Late winter snow slams the East Coast Monday

Dave's flight to Ft Leavenworth was cancelled, Alyson's school was cancelled, there are 6 inches of snow on the ground, and we've got cider on the stove top and chili in the crock pot! IT'S A SNOW DAY!!!

Hopefully the last bit of winter before a warm, sunny spring. My daffodils and hyacinths are already sprouting, we've had spring birds at the feeder, and I am ready for spring.

Today is fun, though. You really can't beat a "forced" day at home--
